The Sacred Union of the Nation (USN) is a parliamentary coalition that leads the parliament of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It brings together several political parties, including the Union for Democracy and Social Progress, the Union of Mobutist Democrats, the Union for the Congolese Nation, the Movement for the Liberation of Congo, the Unified Lumumbist Party and the Alliance of Democratic Forces of Congo.
According to the vision of its initiator, President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, our only credo is "For a Congo restored".

The Sacred Union for the Nation is the expression of the "common will to build, in the heart of Africa, a state of law and a powerful and prosperous nation, based on true political, economic, social, and cultural democracy" (Preamble to the Constitution of February 18, 2006).
Unite political and social forces: committed to the Party’s cause, in order to safeguard and consolidate peace, territorial integrity, national unity, sovereignty of the DRC, accelerate its development, and ensure its influence across Africa and the world.
Promote and strengthen emergence: of a state of law, republican, secular, and social, practicing good governance, respectful of democratic values and the principle of separation of powers.
Support the proper functioning of institutions: at local, provincial, and national levels, as well as all public services of the State.
Democratically retain power: by ensuring the victory of its candidate in the presidential election and guaranteeing a stable and coherent parliamentary majority following presidential, legislative, provincial, senatorial, urban, municipal, and local elections.
Ensure an equitable distribution of responsibilities: among the political forces within the USN, in proportion to their political or sociological weight.
Pool resources: political and strategic resources necessary to maximize the chances of winning elections at all levels.
